Pound Renames to National Civil Justice Institute

By Mary Collishaw

As of August 1, 2022, the Pound Civil Justice Institute has proudly changed its name to the National Civil Justice Institute. This change reflects our continuously expanding reach and impact across the country, as well as our ongoing commitment to providing resources for judges, academics, and attorneys nationwide. Our new web address is www.ncji.org. You may want to add @ncji.org as an accepted sender in your email system so you won’t miss our future announcements.

Our mission and work will remain the same. We will continue to strive to be a forward-thinking organization that reflects the diversity of today’s legal community and addresses its issues. We illuminate emerging legal trends and current topics at the forefront of the civil justice field. Crucially, our work supports the rule of law and access to justice, including the critical right to trial by jury in civil cases.

Thank you for your continued interest and support as we embark on this exciting new chapter. We look forward to continuing to work with you.

Christopher T. Nace
President, 2022-23
Gerson H. Smoger, PhD
